So, here we go! WelcomeToWhitby.co.uk is now live and ready to be used for the benefit of Whitby and area's bed and breakfasts, hotels and self catering holiday accommodation owners.

This project is in its infancy. I've got great plans for loads of additional features and will shortly be adding a 'roadmap' page so you can see exactly what we have planned and when it should be achieved.

A Brief History

WelcomeToWhitby.co.uk has been created, and is managed by me. I've been working with all kinds of business in Whitby (and further afield) for quite a few years now, and have helped plenty of firms make the most of their online presence.

Many of my clients are bed and breakfast or holiday accommodation owners in the Whitby area and over the years I've been asked numerous times if I'd ever thought about creating an online accommodation directory.

Because of the number of directories currently available, I have continuously put this project off, thinking there was little I could offer which wasn't currently available.

Until now.

WelcomeToWhitby.co.uk aims to offer a real, community based alternative to the 'big names' in holiday lettings. I've created it from the ground up, with advertisers as the focus, ensuring that everything I've created (and will create in the future) provides actual useful, important functionality, built to make lives easier and businesses simpler to run.

So what's next?

Well, that's partly up to the advertisers! I want feedback. I want suggestions. I want advertisers to feel comfortable enough to call me and ask me to create certain functionality which will make their lives easier.
