Heavy Sleeper? This Crowdfunded Bluetooth Alarm Clock Might Help
I'm a really heavy sleeper. Once I'm asleep, I rarely wake up until my alarm goes off, and even then it can take some effort to actually get out of bed.
And I'm a father of four, so it's not like our bedroom is a haven of peace on a morning!
I've got into the habit of leaving my phone (aka alarm clock) on the other side of the room, so I have to get out of bed to turn it off. But I increasingly find myself simply stretching across the bed to turn it off, and promptly going back to sleep. Not ideal.
Here's a possible solution for all us 'snoozers' - an alarm clock which along with a really annoying noise, requires you to physically remove it from the bedroom before it turns off.
I'm not really tempted to back it - I'm sure I can simply put my phone out of reach so I too have to get properly out of bed, but it's an interesting concept. And I like the fact that it's a proper physical product. You can touch it, hold it, look at it. It's not just another alarm app - destined to live out it's existence within a phone.
